6-Day Valley of Flowers Trek Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Haridwar
Reach Haridwar, a city steeped in spirituality. Spend the evening by the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 2 – Haridwar to Govindghat
Drive through scenic mountain roads, crossing Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Joshimath, before reaching Govindghat.

Day 3 – Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek)
Begin your trek along the Pushpawati River. Reach Ghangaria, the base camp for the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.

Day 4 – Valley of Flowers Trek
A breathtaking day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where meadows burst with wild alpine flowers. Return to Ghangaria.

Day 5 – Hemkund Sahib Trek
A steep but rewarding trek to the sacred Hemkund Sahib, set beside a glacial lake. Descend back to Ghangaria for the night.

Day 6 – Ghangaria to Govindghat (Trek) and Drive to Haridwar
Trek down to Govindghat and drive back to Haridwar, marking the end of your journey.

Kid-Friendly Note: This itinerary is suitable for families with older kids (above 7–8 years), as the treks can be long and moderately challenging. Pony rides and porters are available to make the journey easier for children.
