Day 1 – Visit the Death Railway Museum, which shares the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway, followed by the iconic River Kwai Bridge (you can enjoy a short boat ride here as well). End the day at the JEATH War Museum, which provides a sobering yet insightful look into World War II history.
Day 2 – Spend the day at Erawan National Park, known for its emerald green waterfalls and natural pools, perfect for hiking and swimming. Later, stop by the Erawan Municipal Food Market to sample local delicacies, and wrap up with a visit to Phra That Cave, a hidden gem within the forested mountains.
Day 3 – Dedicate half a day to Elephant World, a sanctuary where you can feed, bathe, and spend time with rescued elephants. The rest of the day can be kept light for relaxation.
Day 4 – Unwind at Hin Dat Hot Springs, then chase nearby waterfalls, and close the evening watching a picturesque sunset.
